Would you believe this silly site is now getting over 10,000 hits a day? No? You’d be right. It’s not. I’m not tracking the stats very closely, but I’d say we get 3-4 outstanding new visitors a day. Not bad for a site that’s only six years old.

Background- I’m a 37 year old guy who bought this domain back in 2002 with the hopes of creating something wonderful here. Alas, I never did. As I think it’s a pretty cool domain name I never let it expire but I just didn’t get around to doing much with it. That’s all changed now! Now it’s got this wonderful cutting-edge blog.

I’ve decided I want to make a living in my underwear (not as a model, but a blogger) while eating cheesy poofs in my mother’s basement. We’ve all read the stories about bloggers in third-world countries making tens of dollars annually. I thought about it for a while and wondered how I could get in on some of this major action. I put some Adsense up and joined one of those sites where advertisers pay bloggers to write reviews in very poor English. And holy cow has the money started coming in! I’ve made about $2.70 so far in May 2008- and the month is only half over! If this keeps up I think I can break into the double digit earnings by late summer. Goodbye to my mother’s basement! I’ll be looking for my own place soon.
